This Privacy Policy describes how we process the personal data of the users of this platform and of the passengers of our services, in accordance with Ley N° 29733 — the Personal Data Protection Law — and its Regulation, approved by D.S. 016-2024-JUS.
When you sign up, buy a ticket, or use our support channels, we process your data as described here. We recommend reading this policy together with the Terms and Conditions.
This translation is provided as a courtesy. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails and is the legally binding text.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the transportation company that owns this platform, whose legal name, RUC (tax ID), and registered address appear in the footer of this website and on the payment receipts we issue.
The personal data you provide is stored in databases owned by the Company and registered with the National Personal Data Protection Registry (RNPDP) of the National Personal Data Protection Authority, as required by law.
2. Data we collect
- Identification data: first and last names, document type and number (DNI — the Peruvian national ID — foreign resident card, or passport), and date of birth where applicable.
- Contact data: email address and phone number.
- Trip data: origin, destination, dates, service, seat, and boarding point.
- Billing data: RUC and company name, when you request an invoice.
- Payment data: handled directly by certified payment gateways; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Browsing data: IP address, device identifiers, and cookies (see the cookies section).
- Support data: communications with our support channels and complaints.
Identification and trip data are mandatory in order to issue your ticket: transportation regulations (D.S. 017-2009-MTC) require registering every passenger on the user manifest. Without this data the service cannot be provided.
3. Purposes of processing
Purposes necessary to perform the contract of carriage (no additional consent required):
- Issuing your ticket and the electronic payment receipt required by SUNAT.
- Recording the passenger manifest required by transportation regulations.
- Managing your trip: boarding, changes, endorsements, cancellations, and refunds.
- Handling inquiries, requests, and complaints, including the Complaints Book (Libro de Reclamaciones).
- Preventing fraud and ensuring the security of transactions and passengers.
Additional purposes (only with your prior and express consent, revocable at any time):
- Sending you offers, promotions, and commercial communications about our services.
- Building travel-preference profiles to offer you relevant content.
- Conducting satisfaction surveys and statistical studies.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process your data on the basis of your free, prior, express, informed, and unequivocal consent, and in the cases where the law allows processing without consent: the performance of the contractual relationship (your purchase and your trip) and compliance with legal obligations before authorities such as SUNAT, SUTRAN, or the Public Prosecutor's Office.
Consent for additional purposes (such as advertising) is requested separately, through specific checkboxes, and declining it does not prevent you from buying or traveling. You may revoke it at any time through the channels listed in the rights section.
5. Retention period
We keep your data for as long as the contractual relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by the applicable rules: documentation linked to payment receipts is kept for the periods set by tax regulations, and passenger manifest information for the periods set by transportation regulations.
Data processed solely for commercial purposes is kept until you revoke your consent or request its deletion. Video surveillance recordings at our facilities, where they exist, are kept for a reference period of 30 to 60 days, unless required by an authority.
6. Processors and transfers
To provide the service, we share data with third parties acting as data processors or necessary recipients:
- Certified payment gateways, to process your payments.
- Electronic invoicing providers authorized by SUNAT (PSE/OSE), to issue your receipts.
- Technology infrastructure and cloud providers that host the platform.
- Messaging providers (email, SMS, and WhatsApp) to send you your tickets and notifications.
- Public authorities, where a legal obligation exists (SUNAT, SUTRAN, the National Police, the Public Prosecutor's Office, INDECOPI).
We do not sell or assign your personal data to third parties for unrelated commercial purposes. If any provider processes data outside Peru, that cross-border flow is carried out with the safeguards and declarations required by the regulations before the National Personal Data Protection Authority.
7. Your rights (ARCO)
As the owner of your data, you may at any time exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Objection (ARCO), as well as revoke your consent and request the portability of your data, free of charge.
- Send us your request from your registered email, or submit it at any of our offices, attaching a copy or the number of your identity document.
- Clearly state the right you wish to exercise and, where applicable, the data to be rectified or deleted.
- We will respond within the legal deadlines established by Ley N° 29733 and its Regulation.
If you believe your request was not properly handled, you may file a claim with the National Personal Data Protection Authority of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (MINJUSDH).
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use our own cookies that are necessary for the operation of the site (purchase session, language and currency preferences, security) and, subject to your acceptance where applicable, analytics cookies that help us improve the platform.
You can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Keep in mind that blocking the necessary cookies may prevent you from completing a purchase.
9. Security measures
We apply technical, organizational, and legal measures to protect your data: encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access control, security monitoring, and confidentiality agreements with our staff and providers.
In the event of a security incident affecting your personal data, we will notify the National Personal Data Protection Authority and the affected data subjects within the 48-hour period established by the current Regulation.
10. Minors' data
We process minors' personal data only to issue their tickets and comply with transportation regulations, with the authorization of their parents or guardians, who provide the data when making the purchase.
Minors' travel authorization documents are verified and recorded in accordance with the Code of Children and Adolescents and industry rules.
11. Personal Data Officer and contact
We have a dedicated channel for privacy and personal data protection inquiries, handled by our Personal Data Officer in accordance with D.S. 016-2024-JUS. You can reach them through the support channels published in this website's Help Center, using 'Personal data protection' as the subject line.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The version in force, with its last-updated date, is always the one published on this page; substantial changes are communicated through the registered contact channels.
